Following a national boundary change, the current Leeds North West Parliamentary Constituency was formed in July 2024, joining the Leeds City Council Wards of Adel & Wharfedale, Guiseley & Rawdon, Horsforth, and Otley & Yeadon together.
There are also four Parish Councils within the area: Arthington, Bramhope & Carlton, Pool-in-Wharfedale, and Rawdon.

All of Horsforth's and Guiseley & Rawdon's councillors are elected Labour Party representatives. Horsforth and Otley both have Town Councils in which Labour members play an integral part in advocating for their communities.

Leeds North West is represented in Parliament by Labour Party MP Katie White.
