The Horsforth Town Council Brownberrie Ward by-election is on Thursday 26th of June and our local Labour Candidate is Alan Radford.
Alan has lived in Brownberrie Ward for over fifty years, making him a truly local candidate. His children were educated in local schools, and he has long been involved in the Horsforth community. He served as a governor at both St. Margaret’s and Horsforth School, including over a decade as Chair of the latter.
More recently, he was a Horsforth Town Councillor and chaired the Council’s Planning Committee.
Although a scientist by profession, Alan is also passionate about history and music. In his spare time, he is a historical re-enactor and early musician. He revived and now leads The Leeds Waits, the city's official renaissance musicians.
